Day 3 Raw Food Challenge

Lesson number 1, don’t go to the grocery store hungry!  Probably a good lesson anytime but certainly one to take into heirloomtomatoesconsideration when you are changing your diet.  I never knew the smell of fried chicken would make me a little insane!  Luckily, I didn’t give in and purchased some great organic fruit instead.  Today I am more like myself again.  I guess my body adjusted to the lightness of the foods I am eating and feels more grounded.  A couple of notes so far, be prepared, have things clean and ready to go, get a lot of good fatty avocado’s, it helps make you feel full and satiated, use flax, chia and hemp in your smoothies to fill you up and give you protein, soaked nuts and nut cheese’s are awesome.
